The Ibanez Talman TMB100: Modern Versatility

The lightweight and comfortably offset poplar body of the Talman lays down a warm and punchy foundation and plenty of resonant sustain, while the maple neck has been combined with a twenty-two fret jatoba fretboard to add a touch of extra warmth to the natural tone. A J-style Dynamix split-coil pickup has been planted at the bridge while a P-style Dynamix single-coil sits at the neck, giving the sound of this bass some sweet, vintage-flavoured punch and all of it is dialled in via active two-band tone controls to shape everything from a pumping rock sound to a round R&B sound.
